About Us
Linda and Nigel would like to welcome you to Gelli Secret Escapes where you can either stay in one of our luxury glamping pods or our two bedroom barn, all of which are set in 10 acres of wonderful Welsh countryside. We have been running a holiday rental business since 2017 originally within the Cardiff area but now having moved to West Wales in 2022 we have spent the last 6 months putting our luxury touches to Gelli which has been a holiday destination for a number of years.

Gelli Secret Escapes is a perfect base to explore the wider area including the beautiful boutique towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery, shopping opportunities in Llanelli and Carmarthen, historic castles and heavenly countryside hiking and biking. We are also close to the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Aberdulais waterfalls and the beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pendine.
Local area places of interest include: National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Red Kite Feeding Centre, Pendeyrn Whiskey Distillery, Dan-yr-Ogof caves, Castle Cennen, Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Dinefwr Castle and Deer Park, Dryslwyn Castle, Newton House, Talley Abbey, Gelli Aur Park, Llanelli Wetlands, Aberdulais Tinworks and Waterfall Walk.
Co-Op, Tesco, Lidl all within easy reach of the property. Places to eat include Flows in Llandeilo, The Red Lion in Llandybie, The Cawdor in Llandeilo, The Castle in Llandovery and lots of coffee shops that can be recommended.
